I have been in the towing industry since 1997. I am proud to say I hold the position of Executive Director of the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum.
I am a licensed ATSSA Safety Instructor as well as a FHWA Sharp 2 TIM Instructor and have taught roadside safety all over the US.. I have held numerous position in this great industry, serving as 3rd VP of the TRAA in 2007 -2009, on the board of the WTRAA, the Education Foundation for the TRAA, as well as the legislative and scholarship committees. I was selected Chairman of the Safety Video Committee for the education
foundation, that produced "Everyone Goes Home" and " Dress for Success". For the International Towing & Recovery Museum, I served on the Survivor Fund Committee for many years.
The Texas Towing & Storage Association hired me as their Executive Director for a period of 3 years, ending in 2004. After selling my towing business at the end of 2008, I moved to Chicago and became the Safety Operations Manager for O'Hare Towing.
I was awarded the
2007 Tow Woman of the Year. I was most recently appointed to the Traffic Control Incident Management Professional Qualifications Committee for the NFPA and serve as the towing editor for Respondersafety.com.
